About Andrés
I was born in 1992 into a catholic Mexican-Spanish family, where science, spirituality and arts were part of my upbringing. I had an early spiritual journey that led me to Buddhism during adolescence and eventually to Vedānta, which I embraced as my spiritual path. After finishing high school, I spent a transformative year backpacking through South America, where my experiences with indigenous communities in Colombia and Venezuela profoundly influenced my worldview.
In 2010, I became a monk and dedicated ten years to studying and studying Sanskrit scriptures in various communities across Argentina, Brazil, Austria, and India. During this time, I became a 500H RYTT and meditation teacher, opening 2 different ashrams in Buenos Aires and Austria. After a decade of monastic life, I cane back to the ‘real world’ by starting my higher education at SOAS University of London and completing my Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences at MIU University in the USA. I currently work as a Vedic Astrologer, Yoga, and Meditation teacher, integrating my rich background in Vedanta philosophy, emotional systemic integration (with training from Cristina Casanova, MA), and somatic movement into my classes.
I am committed to a holistic approach to spiritual mental, and physical well-being, rejecting dogma and sectarianism, thus embracing the integration of science and faith on my classes and workshops.
