Women's Ceremony

On the 21st of December we are celebrating both the start of Winter (Winter Solstice) and Capricorn season under the Dark Moon. A beautiful moment to come together as a group of women to celebrate.

Winter Solstice is marking the shortest day of the year, where the Sun takes the shortest path. During Winter Solstice, we celebrate the Sun, that the light will come back. Also on this day the Sun moves in the sign of Capricorn, which marks Capricorn season. The sign of the Wise Woman, the Elder, the Teacher of the Tribe. This will also be the theme of this ceremony. Tuning in with your inner wisdom, as we are all wise women. This ceremony takes place under the Dark Moon, the last moment of the Moon cycle before we start with the New Moon on December 23rd. The Dark Moon is the moment to release and let go that is no longer serving us, for our fresh start: a new cycle.

Why?

Coming together as a group of women can be really uplifting, empowering and motivating. In ancient times this was part of the women’s mysteries. Priestesses and witches (both wise women) were doing this regularly. Because of the patriarch this was banned from culture. Women could no longer come together as it was dangerous. It is time to restore the women’s mysteries and experience the power of women coming together. 

How?

A combination of (embodiment) practices, sharing and teachings. Ella is combining Astrology and Shamanism during this ceremony. 

About Ella
Ella started to walk the path of Shamanism back in 2019, when she started with Shamanic Astrology where she still is a student. This was the beginning, her interest in Shamanism was born. In 2021 she found the right place and teacher to go deeper into the Wisdom and to become a Shamanic Practitioner with Ron Townsend at Definest in Almere. As he is trained by Sandra Ingerman herself, who is a great inspiration to Ella. Last September she did her first training into Shamanic Breathwork with Linda Star Wolf. She sees this as a beautiful combination of Shamanic tools.

Since the start of the training she tries to implement Shamanism in her work and daily life and with that her fascination for nature started to grow. Living with the natural cycles of Land & Sky, honoring the elements and in contact with (her) helping Spirits is part of who she is.
