From Grief to Grace

Every living being will meet grief at some point in life. Whether it’s losing a loved one, a relationship, the role in life or your good health. Losing something or someone that is so close to our heart we experiencing the deep process of grief. How to cope with loss, death, old age is very personal and at the same time universal. We cannot avoid this.

Grief is not just an emotion of pain, loss and suffering, it’s an emotion that brings forth an opportunity of great insights, growth and wisdom. In the eyes of loss and death we often realize of precious life is, how much we can be grateful for. The experience of loss and Grief opens the door for light and grace.

In this workshop:

We will take time to explore the meaning of grief in our lives. How it affected/ affects us, how grief can change or view on life and how we can grow when we are able to move forward through our losses. When we understand the mechanisms of the emotion grief.

We will explore the yogic and western view of grief and deepen our understanding of grief.
We will touch upon coping and healing strategies.
We will learn to use tools of mantra, mudra and meditation we will experience the soothing quality of support and touch we will the nourish our hearts through sharing.

In this extended workshop we will get together in a safe space of the Garden Studio of de Nieuwe Yogaschool.
We will learn, experience and share our thoughts, pain, heart and a warming soup together.
